We are proud to say that 100% of our gold products are 14k gold-filled and can be enjoyed at all times for worry-free wear. Because we choose to work with precious metals for their resistance to tarnishing, unfortunately, the delicate chain necklaces can stretch, as all chains made of precious metals can inevitably stretch. 14k gold-filled is a softer, more malleable metal than, say, iron or steel, and thus can stretch and thin if not properly cared for. Tugging and improper storage can both be culprits of chain stretching. Our beaded chokers can stretch due to the weight of the beads on the chain over time.  We recommend laying your pieces on a flat surface when not being worn. While enewton is not responsible for stretched chains outside of 45 days of purchase, we are happy to assist if you wish to have your chain swapped out or repaired for a small fee.  If you wish to move forward with a repair, please fill out the repair form on our website, and a customer experience team member will reach out to you.
